AI Use Disclosure
Everyday Solar uses artificial intelligence as part of its editorial workflow, and we believe readers deserve to know how.
What AI helps with
- Research - gathering and cross-referencing regulations, specifications, pricing data, and published reviews
- Drafting - producing first drafts of guides and reviews from researched material
- Editing - checking structure, clarity, and consistency across the site
- Maintenance - flagging stale prices, broken links, and guides that need a refresh
What stays human
A human editor is responsible for every published piece. Editorial standards - what we cover, how products are ranked, what gets recommended - are set by people, and the site's editorial policy applies to every page regardless of how it was drafted.
The standards that apply either way
- We do not publish unverified claims or fabricated statistics.
- We do not invent first-person experiences, testing we have not done, or reviews from people who do not exist.
- Factual claims about rules, prices, and performance are grounded in cited sources.
- Errors get corrected when found, whatever their origin.
AI makes it possible for a small independent site to keep guides accurate and current in a fast-moving area. It does not change what we are accountable for: everything published under the Everyday Solar name is ours, and we stand behind it.
